The Medical Aid Programme

In addition to these primary health care clinics, TMT provides medical and health care assistance to the deserving through its Medical Aid Programme.

Points of referral: Needy patients are referred to the TMT network hospitals through the TMT clinics; and through the TMT office.

Financial aid: Patients are offered assistance towards meeting the cost of medication or diagnostics.

Main referral hospitals: These include Lucknow hospitals such as ERA’s Lucknow Medical College and Hospital, Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, King George Medical University and Balampur Hospital, Lucknow.

ERA's Medical Hospital: A majority of the needy patients are treated at ERA's Hospital. The management of Era Medical Hospital has agreed to offer concessional rates and special personalized care to TMT-referred patients. 

Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute (SGPGI): Specialty cases are referred to SGPGI under the “Life Saver program”, implemented in coordination with the Ahlul Bayt Foundation of Mumbai.

In 2007: 1,43,000/- patients were treated under the program to a tune of Rs  5,321,000/-
