In 1984, a group of like-minded visionaries and philanthropists came
together to establish the Tauheedul Muslimeen Trust (TMT), in Lucknow.
Their aim was to promote education as the channel to a better life and
to a more enriched society.
Educational assistance, in the form of nominal scholarships, was the
very first scheme launched by the Trust. Over a period of time, the
Trust has not only been able to promote various schemes in the field
of education and healthcare, but has also established/supported
educational and medical institutes in and around Lucknow. The progress
made by the TMT may be remarkable but stands nowhere when compared to
the achievement of other institutes working selflessly in the same
field, within and outside India.
